A bit about Sam:

My background is Musical Theatre, where I had a career on stage for many years. Then 10 years ago I began to teach, mainly dance, acting and musical theatre, and I began to see how these disciplines helped to develop confidence and strength in all aspects of peoples lives, not just for performance. My interest in Pilates and mindfulness grew and I began to use the principles of Pilates in all my classes and couldn’t believe their positive affect. Then in 2018 I was diagnosed with cancer in the soft tissue of my leg and I knew that in order to rehabilitate myself as quickly as possible after surgery and radiotherapy, Pilates needed to become a bigger part of my life. So here I am, still healing but able now, only 9 months on, to do everything I want and need to do (thank goodness!) with a greater understanding of the incredible power of Pilates and movement for optimum health in both mind and body, and a renewed energy to go out and LIVE MY BEST LIFE!!

You’ll improve your posture, focus on bodily alignment, and get one heck of a core workout! I am a big believer that exercise should be fun, so the classes are small and personal and lend themselves to working towards specific goals for individual clients.
