Easter Wreath Workshop

Pomp and Petals are holding their fabulous Easter Wreath Making Workshops on Friday 3rd April 10.00am – 12.00pm.
Feathers, eggs and beautiful Spring blooms could be incorporated in these gorgeous wreaths to greet your Easter guests – get truly creative at Kimbridge Barn and enjoy their fabulous refreshments included in the price £70.00 per person. Sourdough Workshop
April 27th at 9am
On arrival you will receive a coffee and brunch from the fabulous Kimbridge Barn kitchen team. Learn about the history of sourdough, why its better for your gut and overall health. Step by step you will create two of your own family sized sourdoughs. One will be cooked to take home, the other will be created then cooked at home that evening. We will explore making French baguettes, focaccia breads and standard loaves. All recipes, aprons, kit and guidance will be provided. During this workshop, we will learn how to use metallic ink using a dip pen with a calligraphy nib. If you have attended an introduction class for calligraphy with me, this is the ideal workshop to go on to! If you haven’t attended a beginner’s session, please do still join us as I will run through everything you need to know during the session.
You will be absolutely blown away with the beautiful selection of cards and envelopes you make during the session – there’s definitely something extremely satisfying about using metallic ink for calligraphy!

Learn to Draw Flowers

Join me for a relaxing workshop where you’ll learn how to draw a selection of flowers, using a variety of sketching pencils. We will focus on how and when to use different pencil types, moving on to how to draw to scale and then add shading. By the end of the session, you will have drawn a selection of beautiful flowers.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those who want to develop their drawing skill. You do not have to be able to draw to attend! We will cover absolutely everything!

Introduction to Modern Calligraphy

Come and learn with me on my beginners Introduction to Calligraphy course, whilst relaxing in the most beautiful surroundings. During the session, we will enjoy some delicious tea and cake too! Perfect!
The session will begin with an introduction for how to hold and use a pen, learning letter forms, leading to creating words and phrases. A perfect introduction to calligraphy!
