Yeehaw!!! Kimbridge Barn saddles up for country music and line-dancing
Country music fans, BBQ lovers and anyone looking for a different kind of summer day out are invited to dust off their cowboy boots for Boots & Beats at Kimbridge Barn on Saturday 15th August. Running from 3pm until 9pm, the family-friendly event will transform the Test Valley venue into an American-inspired summer party, complete with live country music, line dancing, slow-cooked barbecue and axe throwing.
Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary drink before a professional line dancing instructor takes to the floor. Whether you’re a seasoned line dancer or someone with two left feet, everyone is invited to join the two sessions designed for all ages and abilities. Food will be served fresh from the fire pit throughout the event, with a menu inspired by classic American barbecue. Guests can tuck into slow-cooked ribs, chicken wings and ‘mac and cheese’, alongside barbecue favourites including corn-on-the-cob and homemade slaw.
For those wanting to test their cowboy skills, axe throwing will also be available, while families can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and live entertainment throughout the afternoon and into the evening. Kris Anderson, operations manager at Kimbridge Barn said: “We’re always looking for new ways to bring people together, and Boots & Beats promises to be one of our most exciting events of the summer. “Whether you come for the country music, the BBQ, the line dancing or simply to enjoy time with friends and family, it’s designed to be fun, welcoming and something a little different. We can’t wait to see the barn filled with cowboy hats and boots!” Set against the backdrop of the Hampshire countryside, Boots & Beats offers visitors the chance to enjoy a little slice of Nashville without leaving the county.
Tickets are available now, with the event expected to attract visitors from across Hampshire and the surrounding area. Tickets cost £10 per person, including a complimentary arrival drink, or £35 for a family ticket (two adults and two children).
