Otterbourne Pub celebrates 10 years of community music festival
A popular family pub in Otterbourne is preparing to host its much-loved Music Festival and Family Fun Day for the tenth year this August bank holiday. The White Horse will celebrate a decade of bringing the local community together through live music, great food and family entertainment on Sunday 30th August. Starting at midday, the free annual festival has become one of the pub’s biggest events, attracting families and music lovers from across Hampshire.
This year’s milestone celebration will feature live music throughout the day, alongside stone-baked pizzas, a barbecue, cocktails from the locally supplied V Rum Bar and a selection of local drinks. Families can also enjoy a bouncy castle, face painting, garden games and ice cream, making it a day out for all ages. Over the past decade, the festival has grown from a small community gathering into a popular summer tradition, reflecting The White Horse’s commitment to bringing the local community together.
Kris Anderson, Operations Manager at The White Horse, said: “It’s hard to believe we’re celebrating the tenth year of our Music Festival. What started as a way to bring the community together has become one of the highlights of our calendar every summer. “We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported the event over the years, whether you’ve joined us every year or you’re planning your first visit this August. “The atmosphere is always fantastic, with brilliant live music, great food and something for every generation to enjoy. “This year’s festival is going to be our biggest celebration yet and we can’t wait to welcome everyone!”
The White Horse Music Festival and Family Fun Day is free to attend, with food and drink available to purchase throughout the day. More information is available at: https://www.idealcollection.co.uk/events/music-festival/
