Join Ali for a relaxing and creative card making Workshop, where you’ll create a beautiful collection of cards and gift tags, perfect for adding a little handmade magic to your Christmas celebrations. Whether you’re completely new to watercolours or already enjoy painting, this workshop is designed to be relaxed, enjoyable and wonderfully satisfying.

You’ll begin with a gentle warm-up and an introduction to working with watercolours, learning how to get the best from their beautiful soft look. Then you’ll put your new skills into practice, creating a selection of cards and tags. There’s something particularly magical about making your own cards and tags – and you’ll leave with your own collection of handmade pieces to give (or keep!) this Christmas. Book here.

Advent Calendar

This is set to be a really fun workshop and is something you could use year after year!

Whether you’re completely new to watercolours or already enjoy painting, this workshop is designed to be relaxed, enjoyable and wonderfully satisfying. You’ll begin with a gentle warm-up and an introduction to working with watercolours and pens, exploring different techniques you can use on your advent calendar.

There’s something particularly magical about making your own Advent Calendar – you don’t have to have young children to enjoy Advent calendars – they’re great for adults too! Join Ali for a relaxing and creative workshop, where you’ll create a fun Advent calendar with your own selection of illustrations hidden behind each door.

Metallic Calligraphy

Join Ali for a relaxing and creative Metallic Calligraphy Workshop, where you’ll create a beautiful collection of cards and gift tags, perfect for adding a little handmade magic to your Christmas celebrations.

Whether you’re completely new to calligraphy or already enjoy putting pen to paper, this workshop is designed to be relaxed, enjoyable and wonderfully satisfying. You’ll begin with a gentle warm-up and an introduction to working with metallic inks, learning how to get the best from their beautiful, shimmery finish. Then you’ll put your new skills into practice, creating a selection of cards and tags on a gorgeous array of dark card, allowing the metallic ink to really shine. There’s something particularly magical about watching the ink catch the light as you write — and you’ll leave with your own collection of handmade pieces to give (or keep!) this Christmas. Book now.

Sourdough Making
November 23rd at 9am

On arrival you will receive a coffee and brunch from the fabulous Kimbridge Barn kitchen team. Learn about the history of sourdough, why its better for your gut and overall health. Step by step you will create two of your own family sized sourdoughs. One will be cooked to take home, the other will be created then cooked at home that evening. We will explore making French baguettes, focaccia breads and standard loaves. All recipes, aprons, kit and guidance will be provided. No previous experience is necessary. Please bring a large mixing bowl with you, or alternatively you can purchase a bread banneton kit for £15 each on the day which includes all you need for home bread making.
