This pottery experience will take you from a raw lump of clay, using coil building to explore organic forms in clay.
Working with clay is more than a creative pursuit – it’s a practice that nurtures mind, body and spirit. Sculptural ceramics brings together tactile exploration, artistic expression and mindful focus, making it a powerful tool for personal wellbeing.
All materials, firing, cream tea plus a hot drink are included. No previous experience necessary.

Fresh Kitchen Sourdough Workshop
February 9th at 9:30am
On arrival you will receive a coffee and brunch from the fabulous Kimbridge Barn kitchen team. Learn about the history of sourdough, why its better for your gut and overall health. Step by step you will create two of your own family sized sourdoughs. One will be cooked to take home, the other will be created then cooked at home that evening. We will explore making French baguettes, focaccia breads and standard loaves. All recipes, aprons, kit and guidance will be provided. No previous experience is necessary.
Please bring a large mixing bowl with you, or alternatively you can purchase a bread banneton kit for £15 each on the day which includes all you need for home bread making.

Making Memories Retreat Day

Paint a metallic wreath and make a silver charm necklace. Join Alison Jane Calligraphy and Fiona from Jewellery Moves for a truly special creative retreat day, filled with painting, creating silver jewellery and memory making moments. Ali will lead you through a watercolour workshop where we will focus on using metallic watercolours to embellish and add intricate detail to our painted wreaths.
The second workshop will be led by Fiona from Jewellery Moves. Fiona is a qualified jeweller (MA RCA) and regularly teaches workshops across the south of England. During the workshop, you will create a selection of 3 charms choosing from a range of Sterling silver charms which can be hand-stamped and personalised, rose quartz cabochons & peals. Your charms will then be added to a Sterling silver chain and worn either together or separately.
Kimbridge Barn will be providing a seasonal lunch, along with tea, coffee and cake! This is a day to make memories, learn new skills, and enjoy the joy of making something beautiful. Book here
